This work delves into the interplay between matter, memory, and becoming. Unlike previous pieces, where painting functioned as a resonant space between body, nature, and the invisible, here, fragmentation amplifies the idea of a subject in constant transformation.The central face is not an individual portrait but a threshold where the earthly and the cosmic, the organic and the mineral converge. Elements like dried flowers, rocks, and stellar remnants evoke a permeable being, woven from ancestral memory and an openness to the yet-unimagined.In dialogue with Future Holds Something for Us, the piece envisions the future not as a fixed path but as an expanding field of possibilities. Inspired by Byung-Chul Han, it distinguishes hope from passive optimism, presenting it instead as an active certainty that transforms anguish into a driving force.Beyond reflecting on the ever-changing nature of existence, this work suggests a way of inhabiting time through porosity and transformation, proposing becoming as an open choreography between matter, memory, and imagination.
